Special poetry night to fight the violence against woman!
This special day to fight violence against women comes from November 25, 1960, the date of the
assassination by the Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo, of the three Mirabal sisters (Patria, Minerva and
Maria Teresa) Dominican political activists.
This is why, yesterday (25th of November), YPGD organised poetry night as part of the project "Za jedno Zajedno". Young artists, Dimitrije Vladić and Ivona Martić were
reading to us their poems. A calm music, with the piano, accompanied the singer who combined poetry with music, and it was delightful.
The topics of the poemes were about love, freedom and peace.
It was a convivial event with good atmosphere, all people were enjoying the poemes and it was also a
« sharing time » where we could drink delicious red hot wine* (you can find the recipe at the end)
prepared by our volunteer and friend Lea.

• 2 cL Rum
• 250g brown sugar
• 1 orange zeste
• 1 lemon zeste
• 1 squeeyed lemon
• 1 squeeyed orange
• 2 cinnamon stick
• 2 star anise
• 4 girofle clove
• 1 ginger root
• 1 tea spoon of muscade
Aktivnost se provodi u sklopu projekta. Projekt “Za jedno –Zajedno” financira se iz Europskog socijalnog fonda u financijskom razdoblju 2014-2020 u okviru poziva „Prostori sudjelovanja – razvoj programa revitalizacije prostora u javnom vlasništvu kroz partnerstvo OCD-a i lokalne zajednice, te sufinancira iz Državnog proračuna na poziciji Ureda za udruge . Ukupna vrijednost projekta je 1.988.842,53 HRK od čega EU sufinanciranje iznosi 1.491.631,90 HRK.
