Die Schwelle

Purpose of this foundation is to recognize causes and to give practical support in resolving destructive conflicts and sanitation of damages in one world, especially those caused by science, technology and globalization.

Foundation has purpose to bring justice, peace and integrity through making universal “Peace Service“. Die Schwelle has been supporting our organization since 2000. Their support contributed to existence, work and affirmation of our association.

SEEYN - South-Eastern European Youth Network

SEEYN Mission: Mission SSEYN is defined at November 2003. Parallel with new SEEYN strategy, SSEYN confirms and activates young people to contribute peaceful and stabile region in southeastern Europe through volunteerism support and education.

Preconditions for new defined mission and goals of SEEYN are: possibility for creating democratic society with focus on volunteerism, finding mechanism of collaboration between government and youth, better perspective (social and economic) to youth; to develop tools and structure for education and informing of mobility of youth; to support law changes in society; educated and active political advisers; laws for youth, developing conscious of youth for important topics for them.

AED - Academy for education and development

Mission: To improve people’s life and solve social problems through the best offered thinking, technology and multidiscipline approach to human development. We work on connecting people who are in unsuitable position with knowledge and resources which can improve their life’s and spread our vision of world in which every single man can contribute to well-being it his family, community and nation.

CARE International Croatia / Bosnia and Herzegovina

CARE is united power dedicated to helping the poorest communities in the world, in purpose of solving their biggest problems. CARE is one of the biggest world private international humanitarian organizations, engaged on helping families in poor communities, on improvement of their life’s and reaching permanent victory over poorness. CARE is established in 1945. In purpose of helping survivors in 2nd World War and soon it becomes means which helped to millions of people. Area of our work and mission since then has spread and developed very fast.

CARE works with poor communities on more than 60 countries world wide in purpose of finding permanent solution in struggle against poorness.

We look on global picture of poorness, and we go behind symptom, so we can resist causes of that same poorness. With many programs based on authorization, equality and maintenance, CARE claim to enable human potential, to balance power of people, and by doing that, to free big power which exist and which will lead to progress. Our goal to overcome poorness means to work on insurance of minimum standards of dignified life and security of each person. This includes things, such as: sufficiently food, potable water for everybody, access to health care, to primary education and economic possibilities and possibility of participating in making decisions which have effect on someone’s family or community.

Department for YOUTH by MOBMS

Department for youth produce drafts of proposals of law and proposals of other rules, improves organization, content and ways of work of institutions, performs accepted national programs, strategies and politics, follow international laws and adjusting Croatian legislature with accepting obligations, performs inter recourse and international collaboration.

Department for youth takes part in education of experts who work with young people, follow implementation and evaluating programs and projects of associations for young people; follow and produce science-investigation projects directed on confirming youth, organize supervision for workers of institutions which work with young people, encourage activities directed to prevention of disturbance in behavior of children and youth, minor delinquency and addiction, produce and bring programs for suppressing different forms of addiction among youth.

Department follows, studies and coordinate implementation of politic for youth which is affirmed with national programs and international documents; produce professional foundations and reports in purpose of proposing measure for encouraging of active participating of youth in society, promoting national, family and cultural values of young people, promoting and participate in producing of strategies for youth on local level, analyze situation and suggest measures for improvement of social-economic standard of youth, encourage establishing and work of national multicultural and recreation youth center, and local centers for youth, encourage exchanges of experiences of youth with young people from Croatian Diaspora and world, encourage voluntary and humanitarian work of youth, follows implementation of youth program, and encourage establishments of agencies.

Austrian Peace Service

Austrian peace service was estblished 1991. as a 'platform for promoting unity amog people', which had for the main goal improvement of unity and friendship in Austria and abroad. 1993. this association started with implementation of projects in area of Postojne, Slovenia and Pakrac, Croatia. After successful implementation of these projects Austrian peace service had expand area of their work on other parts of this region, on which 115 employees worked. While they implement their projects in this region Austrian peace service cooperated with many local partner organizations, such as media agencies and youth organizations. Average duration of projects that Austrian peace service was implementing was form 6 up to 14 months. In their projects APS showed that that is possible to initiate and further develop peace processes in conflict areas. APS also organized a campaign for establishment and implementing civil peace activity in Austria.

Ministry for foreign affairs of Denmark

FRESTA Program

Danish goverment has establish 1999. a FRESTA, as a part of Miniytry of foreging affairs. FRESTA menas pace and stability, and its initiatives support institutaions of democratic society, structures and programs that have aim to strenght civic society. FRESTA has specila interest to operate in reconciliation and interborder activities. In last several yers of their work FRESTA pay special attention to South East Europe, but beside this FRESTA act globally. From January 1st this year Eats Development Department (in Danish government) and FRESTA had joined in one section called "Office for the neighbourhood programmes". South East European FRETSA programe This is a special activity within FRESTA program. FRESTA secretary has in 1999. called Danish partners with experience in promoting of democraty and development to take place in creating civic society program for SEE. Four focus groups are indentifed as a key for for building democraty, peace and stability: human rights, refugees, youth and media. Danish partners that are involved in this project are: Danish associtation for international cooperation, Danish institute for human rights, Baltic media center Danish refugee council, Danish journalistic school. Folowing its action plan FRESTA 1999. has start pilot project with its partnetrs for the region. FRESTA SEE program gives support to cooperation of building regional civil societies considering four focuses that FRESTA indetifidet. This program gather civic organizations, support information exchange and support reconciliation and overborder cooperation and development of democracy.

MFA - Ministry for foreign affairs of Finland

Ministry for foreign affairs of Finland is an officaill part of Finish goverment representative in Croatia. Its taks are to provide all relevant information to desicion makres in an internatinal political and economical scene regarding Croatia; promoting of Finish culture in Croatia and providing suuport to Finish citizens; informing Croatian officials and citizens regarding Finalnd.

In process of strenghting of international cooperation and solidarity and pecace consolidation that is based on principes of democarty, equality, human rights respect and sisitematic development of a system of justice. As a organization with huge proffisionality form fileds of international cooperation, MFA prepare and represent offical foregin policy of Finish government.

MFA vision 2010 includes: affecting on global development in providing peace and prosperity, creating flexibile and open-minded organizations that will listen the needs of Finish citizens in Finland in abroad, creating postive conditions for development and progress of its employees in motivating envoirment.

European section of MFA is including Croatia as well. This section operates in several different fields of work: establishing of bilateral relations on many differnets field of work (political, economical, marketing and etc.), cooperation with coutries form SEE, promoting of peace in SEE.

SOROS Croatia - Institute Open society Croatia

Institute Open society Croatia is an important acter in process of development of civil society in Croatia. From its establishment in 1992. it has initiate many positive changes in our society and its strategic focus cna be seen in political, economical development of our country. With their new stategic platfom which base is forum of open society this Institute is conitninuing with its proactive operating.

This year , after preparation long two years, Forum open society has started with its work and goal is to with resarchments that this Forum will do to analize level of open society in Croatia in several society segments. Those results will be provided to the publicy and public discuss will be supported. Forum will offer support to those projects of advocacy and that will have aim to open those segments of our society that are 'colsed' at this moment.
